Completing the tests from the email message

Important: to perform concussion assessments with the Headsmart (Cogstate) the Flash player must be installed on your PC or Mac. The

When a concussion test is created for you, you’ll receive an email message. Additionally, a text message will be sent to you as well, if the SMS feature is activated on your coach’s account. Once you have completed the test, the report is automatically to your team's doctor or healthcare professional. Coaches will not have access to this information.

Check your emails (if the message is not visible, check your spam/trash boxes) for a message with the  subject line ‘[AthleteMonitoring] Link to HeadSmart concussion test’, open the message and press the TEST (orange) button to start the test.

This will take you to a new page where you can complete the test in about 5-10 min.

Complete the tests from the web application

You can also complete the tests from within the AthleteMonitoring web app. Simply proceed as follows:

• Point your web browser to https://app.athletemonitoring.com
• Enter your login information and press sign-in
• Open the medical tab (suitcase icon), and tap on the HeadSmart logo.
• Then press the Start Baseline Test or Start Post-concussion Test to complete the test. This will take you to a new page where you can complete the test in about 5-10 min.
