When I do a mass import of athletes, do they all receive an automatic email invitation?

No.  When you import athletes, they do not automatically receive invitations. You can, however, batch send invitations easily by proceeding as follows:    

1. Open the Users menu-Athletes section
2. Open the Key tab
3. Select the athletes and press Send login information.
