AthleteMonitoring offers both preset user roles and customizable ones.

ACCOUNT OWNER


Can access all system features
Can access and configure all teams
Can add/delete teams
Can send emails/sms to other users
Can add other users and assign teams to them
Can upgrade/downgrade/delete plan (delete plan will delete all athletes and other users linked to the account).

ADMIN


Created by account owner
Can access all teams
Can access all team features
Can access and configure new team
Can emails/sms other users
Can add/activate athletes in his team(s)
Cannot upgrade/downgrade/delete plan or access global user management.


ADMIN - NO MEDICAL


Can access all teams

Custom roles

Account owners can create a virtually unlimited number of custom roles and feature combinations. Custom roles can then be assigned to specific users.


To add custom roles, open the Settings menu, select the Roles tab and click the green cross.


Then enter the name of the new role and select the required Global (global/top menu permissions) and Team (team-level) related permissions. Then, press Submit to save the new role.

Notes & Documents: show/hide Notes and Documents for Staff/Athletes from the global users list


Medical: show/hide ‘Medical’ Notes and Documents for Staff/Athletes from the global users list


Assessment Settings: show/hide the Settings-Assessment Settings


Exercise Settings: show/hide the Settings-Exercise Settings tab


Questionnaire Settings:  show/hide the Settings-Questionnaire Settings tab


Grade Settings:  show/hide the Settings-Grade Settings tab


Health Settings:  show/hide the Settings-Health tab


Privacy Statement: show/hide the Settings- Privacy Statement (consent forms) tab

Manage All Teams: allow/disallow user to access all the teams available in the system


Team permissions


Health (Anonymized): user can only view anonymized health information (athlete names are replaced by database-generated unique ID)

Logs & Stats (Anonymized): user can only export anonymized log and stats (athlete names are replaced by database-generated unique ID)

Questionnaires (Anonymized): user can only view anonymized questionnaire results (athlete names are replaced by database-generated unique ID)

Dashboard: grant/revoke access to the Team dashboard and related features

Calendar: grant/revoke access to the Team calendar and related features

Training Monitoring: grant/revoke access to the Training monitoring and related features

Health: grant/revoke access to the Health menu and related features

Notes: grant/revoke access to athlete notes

Assessments: grant/revoke access to the Assessment menu and related features

Questionnaires: grant/revoke access to the Questionnaires menu and related features

Team Charts : grant/revoke access to the Team charts menu and related features

Edit completed questionnaires : grant/revoke ability to edit answers of completed questionnaires

Access to Admin Only questionnaires: grant/revoke ability to access questionnaires marked Admin-only (lock icon)

Athletes : grant/revoke access to the Athletes menu and related features

Import: grant/revoke ability to import athletes for the specific team

Notes & Documents : grant/revoke ability to attach Notes and Documents to athlete profiles

Admin : grant/revoke ability to add/edit the type of notes

Media Sharing: grant/revoke access to the Media sharing menu and related features

Coach: grant/revoke access to the Media sharing features by Coach users

Medical: grant/revoke access to the Media sharing features by Medical users

Manager: grant/revoke access to the Media sharing features by Manager users

Admin: grant/revoke access to the Media sharing features by Admin users

Team Settings: grant/revoke access to Team Settings menu and related features

Admin: grant/revoke access to Team Settings menu and general team administration features

Medical : grant/revoke access to the Team Settings menu and health/medical related features

Delete Team: grant/revoke permission to delete existing teams

Wellness: grant/revoke access to Wellness & Readiness monitoring and related features

Menstrual Cycle Tracking: grant/revoke access to Menstrual cycle tracker and related features


To assign the new role to an existing user, open the User menu, Staff section, open the staff profile, select the new role/user type and save.


To modify custom roles, open the Settings menu, select the Roles tab and click the gear icon.


Disclaimer

Custom roles and permissions allows you to define who sees and access what. Therefore, defining and using custom roles can have serious impact on data privacy and security and should only be used when the preset roles cannot meet your specific needs.


When you create a new role, always test it first on a dummy user account to ensure it perfectly matches your needs and doesn't allow the user to access more that he/she should have access to. Only then, you can start assigning the custom role to new users.
