You can send and receive secure messages from/to staff and athletes anytime from within the app by pressing the Messages icon located at the top of your screen.
Messages are automatically displayed on the recipient's app who can then read them and reply. An email or sms notification such as the one below can be sent automatically to each message recipient. The way notifications are sent is explained at the end of this tutorial.
To deselect multiple teams and/or athletes, just hold CTRL on Windows or Command on Mac, and click on the team, athlete or staff to deselect.
Reading messages
To read a message, open the Inbox tab. Tap on the message to view message details. To reply to the message scroll down, enter your reply and press Send. To print a message or an entire conversation, select the ... menu and the Print option.
Sending messages
To send immediate messages to teams, athletes and staff users
Select the Compose tab, the Team button, then, select one or more recipients, enter your subject, message and press Send Now.
To send immediate messages to contact groups
Select the Compose tab, the Contact groups button, then, select a contact group, one or more recipients, enter your subject, message and press Send Now.
To send delayed messages
Select the Compose tab, the Team button, then, select one or more recipients, enter your subject, message and press Send Later. Then select the date and time at which the message will be sent and click Yes.
To send recurring messages
Select the Compose tab, the Team button, then, select one or more recipients, enter your subject, message and press Recurring. Then set the recurring parameters and click Yes.
Managing contact groups
Creating contact groups
To create a contach group. open the Contact Groups tab, Add New, enter the group name and save. To add staff users to the contact group, click the staff button and select the recipients. To add athletes to the contact group, click the staff button and select the recipients. Then save.
Deleting contact groups
To delete a contach group, click the X icon and confirm.
Managing recurring and delayed messages
To view scheduled messages, open the Recurring tab and click the Recurring or Send Later button. To delete a scheduled message click the X button.
Filtering Messages
To quickly filter or retrieve messages and conversation type the word you are looking for in the search box. Matching messages will be displayed. This option is available in the Inbox, Sent and Archived tabs.
Archiving messages
To archive a message, open the Sent tab, open the menu and select the Archive option. To delete, unarchive a message (move to inbox), open the Archive tab, open the menu and select the appropriate option
To allow athletes to send message to other athletes from the same team/group, open your Team Settings-General-Messaging and set Allow peer messaging to Yes.
Setting notification options
To change the way you receive message notifications (email, sms, both, no notifications), open your profile and select the appropriate option in the Receive alerts and notifications list.
